SAARNI IIDA EDIT AMILDA is a small knitwear studio in Joutsa, in the Finnish Lakeland, where the winters are long enough that a cardigan is not a fashion decision but a practical one.
We started with one question: why is it so hard to find a knit that keeps its shape after a season of wear? The answer, mostly, is that knitwear is made to a price rather than to a wearer. So we chose the slower route. Every cardigan and pullover in the store is selected for the weight of the yarn, the way the ribbing recovers, and whether the shoulder actually sits where a shoulder sits.
Our range is deliberately narrow. Crew necks and V-necks with real buttons. Turtlenecks and mock necks for the weeks when the wind comes off the lake. Cable knits, pointelle, and a soft boat neck that works under a coat. Sizes run from XS to XL, and the flat measurements for each piece are published on its product page, so you can compare them with a garment you already own.
Orders leave Joutsa within 1-3 business days and travel with tracking; estimated delivery is 15 business days. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours with photos. If a parcel goes missing, tell us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. Returns are open for 30 days on unworn pieces with tags.
